Australia crowd welcomes Mohammed Siraj with massive boos.

Indian speedster Mohammed Siraj was brutally booed by The Gabba crowd on day 1 of the third Test match against Australia. As the speedster came to bowl the second over, boos rang from different parts of the ground. This was because of his recent fiery send-off to Travis Head during the second Test match in Adelaide. Siraj and Head were involved in an on-field verbal spat in pink-ball Test.

The International Cricket Board (ICC) also penalised both cricketers for their on-field actions in the second Test match. The India fast bowler received a 20 per cent fine, while Head was sanctioned and awarded one demerit point.

The video of the Australian crowd booing Mohammed Siraj is going viral on social sphere, here is the clip.

Coming back to the Gabba Test, Rohit Sharma opted to bowl in the third Test. Australia batted for just 13.2 overs before rain played spoilsport in Brisbane. The condition in Gabba seems like it is nearly impossible to continue the play.

Rohit Sharma at Toss

"We're going to bowl first. A little bit overcast and has a little bit of grass, looks a bit soft as well, want to make the best use of the conditions. Lot of cricket to be played, both teams have played good cricket in the last two games. Big game for us here, we'll do what is expected of us. We'll play good cricket. We understand we have to capture some moments. We didn't do that in the previous game, which is why we lost," he said.

Being asked about the atmosphere in the dressing room, Rohit said, "It's absolutely buzzing. The guys are looking forward to the match, we're looking forward to coming out here and playing. Looks a little soft at this point in time, conditions bit overcast as well, but it will get better to bat as it goes on. We've made two changes, Jadeja and Akash back in place of Ashwin and Harshit."
