Cricket Australia to issue refund to spectators for Day 1 of Gabba Test.

India and Australia are locking horns against each other for the third Test match at the iconic Gabba Stadium. Day 1 of the third Test match was a bad day for fans who were expecting a thrilling contest between two Test rivals. The opening day just witnessed 13.2 overs before rain stopped the play.

However, there is good news for spectators who witnessed the Day 1 of the third Test match in Gabba. Cricket Australia will initiate a refund for spectators who were in Gabba for Day 1.

Gabba Refund rules

A complete list of Cricket Australia's refund policy is available on the Gabba website, but here's a summary. Single-day ticket holders are entitled to a full refund if less than fifteen (15) overs are completed and no result is recorded for the Match on the day.

Here's how spectators will get Day 1 refund

Ticketek (the official ticketing partner in Gabba) provide a refund or exchange a ticket if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the Seller (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law). If an event is cancelled, you do not need to apply for a refund as we will automatically attempt to process a refund back to the original payment method used to purchase the ticket. Otherwise, you must apply for a refund by the earlier of: (a) 4 weeks after notification of the reschedule or relocation; or (b) 72 hours prior to the event. If you do not request a refund by that date, you will have agreed to the reschedule or relocation and will not be entitled to claim a refund.

Will Rain again spoil Day 2 of Gabba Test
