England Cricket Board (ECB) has announced T20I and ODI squads for limited-overs series against India at home starting July 7. Big names missing from the T20I squad are in-form Jonny Bairstow and Test skipper Ben Stokes. In the ODI squad, Dawid Malan is the notable omission.

Bairstow and Stokes have been rested as part of ECB’s workload management. This will be new limited-overs captain Jos Buttler's first series after Eoin Morgan announced his international retirement.

Sam Curran has made a comeback after recovering from his back injury. Curran recently scored a century in the ongoing County Championship. Matthew Parkinson has been included in the squad as Adil Rashid has been given time off for Hajj pilgrimage. 34-year-old Gleeson has made a comeback and is expected to make his debut after consistent performances in the ongoing T20 Blast.
