Anderson-Tendulkar Tropyhy 2025 ended in a draw.

Shubman Gill-led India defeated England by six runs in the fifth Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 at The Oval in London, and with that win, the visitors also secured a  2-2 draw in the five-Test match series.

Mohammed Siraj was the standout performer for India as he was the only player who featured in all Tests and in the last Test when England needed 35 runs with four wickets in hand. Siraj picked up a quick wicket on his first over of the day to shift the momentum of the game. Siraj was awarded Player of the Match for his five-wicket haul in the last Test.

Before the start of the play, it seemed like the game was going in favour of England, but Mohammed Siraj's three wickets and a wicket by Prasidh Krishna confirmed India's win in the last Test. Soon after India's win, the cricketing fraternity started praising the young side for their incredible efforts.

With this win, India surpassed England (26) in the World Test Championship (WTC) points table tally with 28 points behind Australia (36)  and Sri Lanka (16). India's next Test assignment will be against the West Indies, which is scheduled to start from October 02.
