The first T20I of the three-T20I series between India and South Africa at Kingsmead, Durban, has been called off due to incessant rain. The play was called off without the coin toss.
This is the first time an India vs South Africa T20I has been called off without a ball being bowled. So far, only one T20I between the two nations has been abandoned due to rain. It is also the first T20I between the two sides that has been called off on South African soil.
