Pandya's son Agastya turned three years old on July 30.

India's fast-bowling all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared a video with his son Agastya who turned three years old on July 30. Hardik can be seen playing 'Jenga" with his son in the video. This is Agastya's first birthday after Hardik's divorce with Natasa Stankovic.

“You keep me going every single day! Happy birthday to my partner in crime, my whole heart, my Agu (heart emoji) Love you beyond word,” the 30-year-old wrote in a caption on July 30.

Earlier this month, Natasa and Hardik had announced the news of their divorce and decided to co-parent Agastya.

"After four years together, Natasa and I have mutually decided to part ways. We gave it our all, but we believe this is best for both of us. This was a tough decision, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we shared," they posted on their respective social media handles.

Hardik's form in T20I series against Sri Lanka

Hardik is currently playing in the three-T20I series against Sri Lanka. In the first T20I, he could not make an impact. He conceded 41 runs and registered a single-digit score. He came back well in the second T20I and bagged a couple of wickets for 23 runs. In a rain-curtailed run chase, he remained unbeaten for nine-ball 22 to help Suryakumar Yadav-led India by seven wickets to seal the series. The dead rubber is scheduled to be played on July 30.

Hardik loses captaincy

Hardik was slated to be Rohit Sharma's successor after India's T20 World Cup 2024 triumph where he performed in all departments of the game. He was Rohit's deput in the tournament. However, after Rohit bid goodbye to the format, Suryakumar Yadav was named the T20I captain.

Chief selector Ajit Agarkar said that Suryakumar was made captain as they needed someone who is available all the time. Hardik's struggles with injuries was one of the main reasons why he wasn't named captain. Last year, he was ruled out ODI World Cup due to an ankle injury he suffered early in the league stage game against Bangladesh.
