Indian cricketers, accompanied by their wives have touched down in Miami, setting the stage for the fourth and fifth T20I clashes against West Indies at the iconic Fort Lauderdale Stadium in Florida. India, currently trailing the Caribbean side 1-2 in the T20I series, breathed life into the contest with a convincing seven-wicket triumph in the third T20I in Guyana.

Rising star Tilak Varma, who's been turning heads with his remarkable performance, has amassed 139 runs in the ongoing series, leading the scoreboard for India. Notably, he made his striking international debut just last week. Off the field, Varma, alongside Yuzvendra Chahal and Suryakumar Yadav, was spotted enjoying Miami's vibrant streets with their partners Dhanashree Verma and Devisha Shetty.

A snapshot from their outing, featuring the trio with their better halves at Miami's docks, shared by Dhanashree Verma, garnered significant traction on social media platforms. Dhanashree and Devisha have accompanied the Indian squad during the USA segment of India’s West Indies tour.

As Hardik Pandya captains the side, with stalwarts like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli resting for the upcoming Asia Cup 2023, all eyes are on players like Varma. He's closely trailing Deepak Hooda's impressive 172 runs from 3 matches, aiming for a record-breaking series. The youngster is on the cusp of surpassing Virat Kohli's record for the highest runs by an Indian in a five-match T20I series. Kohli set the benchmark with a mammoth 231 runs against England during the 2020-21 series.

Shifting focus, Rohit Sharma recently shared his confidence in Suryakumar Yadav's capabilities in the ODI format. Speaking at a Mumbai event, Sharma emphasized creating a conducive environment for 'SKY', assuring him that occasional failures won't overshadow his potential to be a game-changer.

“For a player like him, it is our job to create such a situation and scenario — ‘It’s okay, if you don’t do well in 2-3 games we are okay, but when you come off, we know that you will win games straightaway’. That is what he did in the third T20I, the batters at the top got out and for Surya to go and bat like that… it is a different format. But we will also have to see how long we can stretch this (having Suryakumar at No. 4)," Rohit said.
