Young Team India sensation Tilak Varma further established himself as a future star in international cricket after his impressive knock in the third T20I against the West Indies. Remaining unbeaten on 49 in Guyana, Varma reinforced his credentials, becoming only the second Indian after Suryakumar Yadav to notch up 30+ scores in his first three T20I appearances.

The India vs West Indies clash at the Providence Stadium saw Team India clinching a seven-wicket victory, making a comeback in the five-match series with a 2-1 scoreline in favour of the West Indies. Suryakumar Yadav's brilliant 83, combined with Tilak Varma's mature innings, allowed India to chase down the 160-run target set by the West Indies in just 18 overs. Kuldeep Yadav's stellar bowling performance wherein he bagged three wickets, kept the West Indies to 159/5 in their innings.

Playing for Team India, Tilak Varma, who delivered a controlled 49* off 37 balls, provided substantial support to his senior Mumbai Indians (MI) teammate Suryakumar in an 87-run partnership. The climax of the match was marked by skipper Hardik Pandya hitting the winning six, leaving Varma just one short of his second consecutive half-century. With the West Indies still leading 2-1 in the series, fans are eagerly anticipating the next showdown set for Saturday in Lauderhill, Florida.

Team India's pursuit of the 160-run target began with a hiccup, losing debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal early in the chase. Despite this setback, a resilient Suryakumar initiated his innings with dynamic boundaries. Shubman Gill's brief stint was cut short, but Tilak Varma stepped up, producing a pivotal partnership with Suryakumar, effectively diminishing the host's chances.

The duo of Tilak and Pandya smoothly carried Team India over the line, with Pandya finishing the match in style and Tilak Varma standing unbeaten, showcasing his talent once again.

This entry into international cricket has been nothing short of magical, and the young batter from Hyderabad will finally be happy that a knock off his bat came in a winning cause.
