The second Test match between West Indies and India is scheduled to be played at Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The last Test of the series is scheduled to be played between July 20-July 24 as Rohit Sharma-led eye whitewash while the hosts would look to attain parity and give the home crowd something to cheer about. The weather is likely to play some part during the five days of the Test match.
Weather Report
According to a weather report, rain is predicted in Trinidad for all five days during the Test match. Day 2 and Day 4 are likely to be severely affected by the rain gods while dark clouds are likely to grace both teams throughout the Test match. One would hope that rain doesn't play spoilsport in what is going to be a momentous occasion as India and West Indies will cross swords for the 100th time in red-ball cricket.
What happened in 1st Test
India wrapped up the first Test against the West Indies in just three days as they secured a massive innings and 141-run victory over the hosts in Roseau, Dominica, on Friday, July 15. Windies needed 271 runs to take the lead but seven wickets by Ravichandran Ashwin bundled them for 130 runs in the second innings. However, the hero with the bat on his Test debut was Yashasvi Jaiswal.
On his Test match debut, young prodigy Jaiswal left an ever-lasting impression on cricket followers around the world.
