Delhi's young pacer Mayank Yadav has made a name for himself from just two matches in the ongoing edition of Indian Premier League. Mayank has proved himself as one of Lucknow Super Giant's most crucial assets. His lethal pace is currently one of the biggest talking points in the cricketing world. Parents of LSG's young gun wished for their son's national call-up following his heroic performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, on April 2.
In an exclusive conversation with Sports Tak, Mayank Yadav's parents expressed their wish to see their son donning the Indian jersey really soon. They even shed light on how Mayank started working hard to become a cricketer from a very young age. Mayank's father also got emotional while talking about his son's journey and said that his son is living his dream.

"He started at the age of 7 one fine day I asked him to join a cricket academy and from there the journey begins... it's my dream which he living Very proud of him...I remember When I used to watch cricket standing on the roads..he has worked hard we wish he will continue doing well and soon wear an Indian Jersey," Mayank's Father Prabhu Yadav told Sports Tak.
Mayank's Mother Praises Her Son
Mayank Yadav's mother expressed her happiness to see her son play on such a big stage. She also told how her son turned into a vegetarian two years back and is a big devotee of Lord Krishna. Just like Mayank's father, she was also really confident about her son receiving a national call-up soon.
"We are very happy that he is doing well and everyone is talking about him..he is a Very talented cricketer people will certainly get to see what he is capable of. He turned vegetarian 2 years back because he believes in lord Krishna. I am very confident that he will get a call from the national team," Mayank's Mother Mamta Yadav told Sports Tak.
Mayanjk picked up three wickets in his four-over spell against RCB and only gave away 14 runs. He picked up the big wickets of Rajat Patidar, Glenn Maxwell, and Cameron Green. He rattled the Bengaluru middle-order and gave a match-winning performance for the Lucknow Super Giants. LSG is currently in the fourth spot on the points table with four points.
