Hardik Pandya will be seen in action during IPL 2024's clash between MI and RCB.

The Pandya brothers took a well-deserved break from the rigour of ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 to find some spiritual peace. Hardik Pandya, leading the Mumbai Indians, and Krunal Pandya, shining as an all-rounder for Lucknow Super Giants, hosted a bhajan session at their residence with their families. A video shared by the brothers showcased the heartwarming scene. The entire family, including their wives Natasa Stankovic and Pankhuri along with their children, participated in the chanting of ‘Hare Rama Hare Krishna’. Hardik, particularly, seemed deeply invested in the bhajan session.

Hardik Pandya's captaincy stint with Mumbai Indians (MI) hasn't been the smoothest start. After three consecutive losses, the team took a short break before their next match. During this break, Hardik visited the famous Somnath temple in Gujarat, possibly seeking divine help to turn things around for MI. Interestingly, their fortunes seemed to change after the visit, as they secured their first win of the season against Delhi Capitals. This religious trip came after Hardik faced criticism from fans for his performance as captain. Traded from Gujarat to MI in a historic move, he replaced Rohit Sharma, the highly successful captain who led the team to five IPL titles. This change upset some fans who booed Hardik in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and even at MI's home ground, Wankhede Stadium.

Looking ahead, Hardik hopes to continue the winning momentum as MI prepare to host Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on April 11. With renewed determination and perhaps some divine support, he aims to lift the team out of the bottom half of the points table.

Meanwhile, Hardik's brother Krunal Pandya is enjoying a successful run with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). LSG has won three matches in a row and currently sits comfortably at the third spot. Krunal has been a key contributor, showcasing his all-round abilities. In their recent match against Gujarat Titans, he took three wickets while conceding only 11 runs in his four overs. He also impressed against Punjab Kings with a quickfire knock of 43 runs off just 22 deliveries.
