Mumbai Indians' premium pacer Jasprit Bumrah delivered the ‘ball of the tournament’ to dismiss Punjab Kings' batter Rilee Rossouw in match 33 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, on April 18 (Thursday).

The teas batter was playing his first match of IPL 2024 but his innings was cut short by the star Indian pacer. He once again showed why he is one of the greatest pacers in the game currently. Bumrah delivered an unplayable yorker and left Rossouw clueless.

IPL posted the video of Bumrah's delivery from their official ‘X’ account formerly known as Twitter. The clip is getting viral across the social space at a rapid pace. 

 

MI pacers rattle Punjab Kings early

 

Gerald Coetzee and Jasprit Bumrah rattled the Punjab Kings top-order by picking up four wickets inside the batting powerplay. Coetzee dismissed Prabhsimran Singh and Liam Livingstone. Meanwhile, Bumrah dismissed Rilee Rossouw and Sam Curran in the same over. 

 

PBKS were only trying to recover from this before Shreyas Gopal dismissed Harpreet Singh Bhatia in the seventh over and gave Punjab another big blow. MI bowlers thre PBKS on the backfoot early in the itself.
