Meanwhile, Delhi Capitals' bowler Khaleel Ahmed, slipped to the fifth position. However, Punjab Kings' pacer, Kagiso Rabada, has dropped out of the top five contention.
On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals' star spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal moved to the second position. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians' star pacer Jasprit Bumrah continues to retain the Purple Cap, having recently secured a three-wicket haul against the Punjab Kings on April 18.

Jasprit Bumrah (MI)
Known for his toe-crushing yorkers, Jasprit Bumrah currently holds the Purple Cap. He has scalped 13 wickets from just seven matches, boasting an exceptional economy of 5.96. Bumrah entered contention by grabbing a five-wicket haul against the RCB on April 11.
Yuzvendra Chahal (RR)
Rajasthan Royals' star leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is just one wicket behind Bumrah, having grabbed 12 wickets from seven matches. Chahal also maintains an economy of 8.34, remaining the only spinner in the purple cap race.
Gerald Coetzee (MI)
South African pacer Gerald Coetzee joined the Purple Cap contention with a match-winning spell, claiming three wickets and conceding only 32 runs against the Punjab Kings on April 18. In seven matches, he has scalped 12 wickets but has an economy of 9.92.
Mustafizur Rahman (CSK)
Chennai Super Kings' Mustafizur Rahman reclaimed his position in the top five wicket-takers list by securing 11 wickets from six matches, with an economy of 9.41. Mustafizur claimed a wicket against the LSG but conceded 43 runs in his quota of overs.
Khaleel Ahmed (DC)
Delhi Capitals' left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed remains in the race with 10 wickets from seven matches, boasting an economy of 8.17. Recently, Khaleel took a wicket and conceded only 18 runs against the GT on April 17.
