Virat Kohli's 8th IPL ton goes in vain

Virat Kohli smashed his 8th IPL century during match 19 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League that was being played between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, on April 6. The former RCB skipper's century went in vain as RR picked up a 6-wicket win. The day might not have ended well for Kohli and fans but Yuzvendra Chahal's latest Instagram post definitely would have made Virat feel special.

Chahal's special post for Kohli

A day after the royal clash between Rajasthan and Bengaluru, Yuzvendra Chahal made a special post for Virat Kohli from his official Instagram handle. He posted a picture with Kohli and captioned it by writing ‘You will always be my Virat bhaiya’.

Virat even liked the post. Chahal was part of Royal Challengers Bengaluru family for 8 years. He was an integral member of the RCB family and had a great bond with the former RCB skipper. Even after joining RR in 2022, Chahal and Kohli used to share some good moments when Rajasthan and Bengaluru used to play each other.

Kohli's century in vain

Virat Kohli smashed his 8th IPL ton in the match against Rajasthan. However, it was not enough to lead the Bengaluru side to a crucial victory. Jos Buttler, who was playing his 100th IPL match smashed his 6th IPL ton and turned the tides on the visitors.

Rajasthan Royals are now on top of the points table with straight four wins. They currently have four points and they would be happy with their team's overall performance. Both batting and bowling departments are delivering for them.
