Indian Premier League (IPL) is the richest franchise cricket tournament hosted by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) the first season of the tournament was played in 2008 where Rajasthan Royals lifted the title beating Chennai Super Kings in the final at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Earlier there were eight teams fighting for the title but during IPL 2022 the board of the tournament added two more franchises in the cash-rich league named after Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow and Gujarat. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are the standout teams of the tournament both won the title for five times each. Now, KKR have emerged as the newest champion after clinching their third IPL title following a dominant win against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Knights have become the third team in history after MI and CSK to have more than two titles.

Punjab Kings (PBKS)
Punjab Kings are featuring in the tournament since the first season of the tournament but they are also looking for their maiden title victory in the tournament.
Delhi Capitals (DC)
Delhi Capitals are also looking for their maiden IPL title. The team is featuring in the tournament since 2008. DC were IPL finalists in 2020.
Lucknow Super Giants
Lucknow Super Giants played their inagural season of the tournament in 2022 and they are also trophy-less. KL-Rahul-led side qualified for the playoffs in their first season of the tournament.
