Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Harshit Rana might find himself in trouble after giving an aggressive send-off to Delhi Capitals' batter Abhishek Porel during match 47 of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Eden Gardens, on April 29 (Monday). The KKR bowler clean-bowled the DC batter in the seventh over after which he gave him a fiery send-off. Rana earlier faced a fine for giving a similar sort of send-off to Mayank Agarwal.

Rana dismissed Porel in the seventh over after which he told him to go back to the dugout with a gesture from his finger. The last time he gave a flying kiss send-off to Mayank Agarwal after which IPL fined him 60 percent of the match fee for committing two Level 1 offences under Article 2.5 of the IPL's Code of Conduct and was fined 10 and 50 percent of his match fees respectively.

KKR restrict DC on 153/9

 

Varun Chakaravarthy's three-fer and two wickets each for Vaibhav Arora and Harshit Rana helped the Knights to restrict Delhi to 153 runs at the loss of 9 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav was the highest run-scorer for the Delhi Capitals with 35 not out from just 26 balls. Delhi kept on losing wickets at regular intervals and could only reach 153 runs that too with the help of Kuldeep Yadav's finishing.
