Defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are facing a big problem as they are currently worried over the delay in the arrival of English cricketer Moen Ali. The English all-rounder’s visa has not been approved yet.

While talking to Sports Tak Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Viswanathan said that Moeen is still waiting for his Visa approval and the team management spoke to him about the issue and he is hoping that the matter will be resolved soon.
According to the CSK CEO, all necessary documentation has been done but it is still not clear why his visa approval has not come and as soon as Moeen gets his Visa he will fly to India and join the team.
Retained players
Earlier, CSK had decided to retain four players ahead of the mega auction for the 15th edition of IPL. Skipper MS Dhoni, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, English all-rounder Moeen Ali and Indian batter Ruturaj Gaikwad were the four cricketers retained by Chennai Super Kings.
The Chennai Super Kings team are presently having their camp in Surat and the MS Dhoni-led CSK will play in the inaugural match of IPL against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on March 26, at the Wankhede Stadium, in Mumbai. The final match of the IPL is slated to be played on May 29.
Mumbai Indians frachise led by Rohit Sharma will have Delhi Capitals (DC), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Lucknow Super Giants in Group A of the 2022 edition of IPL.
On the other hand, Group B is comprised of defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Sunrises Hyderabad (SRH), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans.
With the addition of two new teams, this year’s IPL will have 10 teams vying for the prestigious trophy. Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants are two entrants.
