Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper KL Rahul struck another ton of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday to guide his side to a 36-run triumph. Rahul belted an unbeaten 103 off 62 to take his total run tally in the IPL 2022 to 368 in a total of eight matches.
As Rahul closed in on Rajasthan Royals' Jos Buttler (491 runs in seven matches) who continues his monopoly at top of the list in Orange Cap race. With this he leapfrogged Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya, who has mustered 295 runs in six matches.
Meanwhile, MI's emerging talent Tilak Verma surged from seventh spot to fourth with a gritty knock of 38 off 27 in the match against LSG, to surge to fourth place as his total runs tally reached to 272 in eight matches.
