An important win for Punjab Kings (PBKS) over table-toppers Gujarat Titans (GT) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season kept them in the hunt for a place in the playoffs. Punjab's brilliant all-round performance ensured that the side won by eight wickets after Kagiso Rabada led the bowlers as they tamed the in-form GT batters.
The win moved Punjab to fifth on the points table, above Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as well. They are one of three teams who have 10 points, before the latter take on ninth-placed Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Wednesday.
