Kuldeep Yadav was among the better bowlers for Delhi Capitals (DC) during their 17-run win over Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match, picking up two wickets to take his tally for the season to 20. He is now fourth on the Purple Cap standings, just behind Kagiso Rabada, but his important contribution to the win pushed Delhi Capitals into the playoff spots to fourth.
Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal reclaimed his previous spot on the Purple Cap standings. The spinner was at his usual best against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and his only wicket of the match was a crucial one for Rajasthan Royals (RR) as the side moved to second on the points table after their 24-run victory over the Super Giants.
