Rajasthan Royals (RR) ensured a six-wicket win over Punjab Kings (PBKS) as the side fortified their third spot on the points table. Leading the bowling department for RR was leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who bagged three wickets for 28 runs, was also the most economical bowlers from both teams (among the bowlers who bowlers four overs).
Another player whose performance was crucial for his team's win was Avesh Khan, who replaced Dwayne Bravo in the top 10, moving to 10th on the Purple Cap standings. Meanwhile, PBKS pacer Kagiso Rabada equalled Kuldeep Yadav's 18 wickets, but by virtue of a better economy rate (8.42), the Delhi Capitals (DC) spinner is above the South African (8.72).
