Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga was the best bowler during their six-wicket loss to Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. The Sri Lankan picked up two wickets for just 28 runs and had an economy rate of 7, the best of all the bowlers in the game.
Despite his efforts, Hasaranga was unable to keep the GT batters at bay as David Miller and Rahul Tewatia lifted their team to an important win in their bid to qualify for the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals (RR) star Yuzvendra Chahal picked up the wicket of the in-form Suryakumar Yadav, who scored a 39-ball 51, but was unable to prevent Mumbai Indians (MI) to march towards their first victory of the season. His wicket increased the spinner's lead at the top of the Purple Cap to two wickets.
