The champions of the inaugural season of Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals (RR) will begin their campaign in the 15th edition against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 29 at MCA Stadium, Pune. Royals will play a total of 14 league matches. Their last league clash will be on May 20 against the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at Brabourne Stadium, Cricket Club of India (CCI).


Sanju Samson will lead the Royals after a disappointing 2021 season. They finished seventh on the table with five wins from 14 games. Royals have made a few big picks this season and will look to solve their middle-order problem. Also, they have quality in bowling attack with Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal and Prasidh Krishna joining the franchise.
