Rajasthan Royals' (RR) batting phenom Yashasvi Jaiswal is roaring with the bat in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) as on Thursday (May 11) against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) he whacked the fastest fifty in the history of the glitzy league.

After belting fifty in just 13 balls, Jaiswal went on to hammer an unbeaten 98 to help RR thrash KKR with 41 balls to spare. Jaiswal, who recently smoked a scintillating century, has already amassed 575 runs in a total of 12 matches and is just one runs away from claiming the Orange Cap, which is with Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Faf Du Plessis who has scored 576 runs in 11 matches.

The 21-year-old Jaiswal has been creating buzz with his willow since he became the youngest batter to clobber a double ton in domestic cricket at the age of 17 years and 292 days. His batting exploits also earned him a spot in RR's squad in IPL 2020 and since then he has been unstoppable.

After his heroics at the Eden Gardens, Jaiswal revealed the golden tips from legendary MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jos Buttler, and Sanju Samson which scripted his success mantra and helped him better his game and keep his mind calm and composed.

"I always try to be in the zone and remain in the atmosphere. I have many experienced legendary players around me," Jaiswal said the post-match press conference.

"Whenever I get a chance I keep talking to MS bhai, Virat (Kohli) bhai, Rohit (Sharma) bhai, Jos (Buttler) bhai, Sanju (Samson) bhai on how to keep my mind calm, what to think. Always try to learn, what all I can improve and bring into my game, how to control... This game is fully mental first then physical. You have to keep yourself in the zone," he added.

Jaiswal also opened up on KKR's surprising move to bring their skipper Nitish Rana to bowl the first over which went for 26 runs.

"I wasn't taken aback seeing Rana bowl the first over. You expected the wicket to offer turn from the new ball. When I saw Nitish bhai coming to bowl the first over, I backed myself to play my shots and score some quick runs, even if it was the first ball of the match. You never knew where the first ball would land. I just played my shots," he said.
