Rajasthan Royals' (RR) Jos Buttler completed a marvelous catch and left the onlookers stunned by his athleticism during the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS). The moment occurred on the fourth ball of the 10th over when PBKS batter Prabhsimran Singh tried to smoke Jason Holder's delivery out of the park. The right-handed batter mistimed his shot and the ball went in the air. Buttler, who was stationed at deep long-off came charging in and then dived full length forward to complete a fantastic catch.

Talking about Buttler, the England cricketer suffered a gruesome injury later on in the innings when he completed Shahrukh Khan's catch on the fourth ball of the 20th over. Buttler sustained a finger injury and required multiple stitches before coming out to bat. The Englishman, who generally opens the innings, came out to bat at No. 3 because of the injury. Interestingly, Ravichandran Ashwin was promoted to the top of the order as Buttler's replacement.

RR captain Samson after the match confirmed Buttler's injury and said, "Jos was not fit. He was getting stitches for his finger after the catch."

Buttler is now expected to miss RR's next match with the injury. While there is no official confirmation regarding the Englishman missing some time but with stitches in the finger, the swashbuckling batter would find it hard to recover from the injury quickly.

Samson's men are scheduled to play the Delhi Capitals on April 8 (Saturday).
