MS Dhoni returns as the captain of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) when the defending champions take the field against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MCA Stadium in Pune on Sunday. Chennai lost their last outing against Punjab Kings (PBKS) and have only two wins in eight games this season. Meanwhile, SRH are fighting for a spot in the playoffs and a win will take them level on points with Rajasthan Royals (RR) at 12.
His first move as CSK captain was to bring back New Zealand batter Devon Conway in place of an injured Dwayne Bravo, while Simarjeet Singh takes the place of Shivam Dube.
"You'll definitely see me in the yellow jersey, whether it is this one, or some other one, you never know. You need to realise the current situation. We have dropped catches, those are the things you want to omit. Those are the areas you need to work on," Dhoni said before the game
"We are going to bowl first. For us we have done something well, we'll try to make use of the conditions with the ball. It was a close game, today is another opportunity as a team. We are playing with the same team," SRH skipper said after winning the toss and choosing to bowl first. The side is unchanged from their loss against Gujarat Titans (GT).
