Former India captain Virat Kohli was spotted at Mumbai airport leaving for Bengaluru for the first Test match against New Zealand which is scheduled to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium from October 16 to 20 October. He was last featured in during India vs Bangladesh two-Test match series where the modern-day great failed to roar with bat. He just scored 99 runs in four innings.

India will play three Test matches against New Zealand where the first Test match will be played at M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru and the second and third Test matches will be played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium and Wankhede Stadium respectively.
After finishing the New Zealand tour, the Men in Blue will travel to Australia for the much-awaited five Test match series which is scheduled to start from November 22. Rohit Sharma-led India will be looking for their third consecutive Border-Gavasakar Trophy win against Australia on their home soil.
However, there are reports that Indian captain Rohit Sharma will likely to miss the first or second Test match due to some personal reasons.
In the absence of Rohit Sharma, speedster Jasprit Bumrah will lead India so looking after that BCCI named Bumrah as Rohit's deputy in the New Zealand series.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 schedule
The five-Test match series between India and Australia (Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024 is scheduled to start from November 22 the first Test take place in Perth.
The second Test will be held from December 6 to 10 at Adelaide Oval, featuring the thrilling day-night format under the stadium's lights.
Following that, the action moves to The Gabba in Brisbane for the third Test, scheduled for December 14 to 18. The series will then reach a pivotal moment with the traditional Boxing Day Test at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, running from December 26 to 30.
Finally, the fifth and concluding Test will unfold at the Sydney Cricket Ground from January 3 to 7, promising an exhilarating finish to this captivating series.
