Wicket-keeper batter Sarfaraz Ahmed brutally mocked Pakistan captain Babar Azam during Match 7 of the ongoing edition of the Pakistan Champions Cup 2024 which was being played between Dolphins and Stallions at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad, on September 19 (Thursday). Shan Masood and Yasir Khan set the foundation with a partnership of 76 runs for the first wicket off 13 overs after choosing to bat first. Babar came to bat at the number 3 spot and led the charge of batting. Babar's century

While this was going on, Babar turned things around with an incredible hundred. With a lofted shot off Abbas Afridi that went down the ground, he reached his nineties. Babar reached his century in the 50th over's penultimate ball. Babar celebrated his milestone with non-striker Haris Rauf after Mir Hamza delivered a full toss outside the off-stump and smashed the ball through the point zone for a boundary.

The star batter returned to the dugout unbeaten on 104 runs off 100 balls. His astonishing innings also included seven fours and five sixes. His knock helped the Stallions side put a total of 271 runs on the scoreboard at the loss of seven wickets in 50 overs. Following the fall of Masood and Yasir, Babar ensured that the scoreboard kept on moving and that his team reached a good score. Babar is currently on the second spot in the list of top run-scorers of the tournament. He has so far amassed 225 runs from just three innings at an average of 112.50.
