India women's captain Harmanpreet Kaur smashed a brilliant century in the third and final ODI of the series against England. The 36-year-old played a terrific knock of 102 runjs from 84 deliveries, carrying the Women in Blue's total to 318/5 by the end of their 50 overs.

This was her seventh ODI century and it saw her break a plethora of records. The hundred which came up in just 82 deliveries is now the second-fastest century ever scored by an Indian women's cricketer in the one-day format. Harmanpreet only fell behind Smriti Mandhana on the list, who took just 70 deliveries to reach her ton against Ireland.

The hundred also saw her become just the third India women's cricketer in history to score over 4,000 runs in one-day cricket after the legendary Mithali Raj and current teammate Smriti Mandhana. The former is the top-scorer in the format with 7,805 runs in 232 matches under her belt, while the latter has so far scored 4,588 runs in 105 matches.

This was a much-needed hundred for Harmanpreet who had been going through a disappointing run of form in one-day cricket. This was also her third century against England and her second on English soil in the format.
