About Graham Hume
Graham Hume is a right-arm medium pacer who bats left-handed. He is from South Africa but plays his cricket for Ireland. AB de Villiers is his idol. Hume played for South Africa in the 2010 U-19 World
Cup and was the highest wicket taker for them with 13 dismissals. He made his List A and FC debuts in 2010 as well. Hume picked up two wickets in both innings in his FC debut while registering
incredible second innings figures of 1/8 in 8 overs where he bowled 7 maiden overs. Hume continued his progress in the South African domestic setup. He was the leading wicket-taker in the
2017–18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup for KwaZulu-Natal Inland, with 40 dismissals in ten matches. Hume decided to move to Ireland and play his cricket there. He played for the Northwest Warriors in
the 2019 Inter-Provincial Cup in Ireland. Following that, he was named in the Ireland Wolves squad for the Bangladesh tour. In 2022, Hume was handed a nine-month contract by Ireland Cricket. In the same year, Hume made his ODI debut against New Zealand. He played his first T20I against Afghanistan. The following year he got his maiden Test cap against Bangladesh which is a great honour for any cricketer. He is a consistent member of the ODI team and due to his immense domestic experience and skills, Ireland decided to name him in the squad for the 2024 T20 World Cup.
