Tony de Zorzi was born on 28th Aug 1997. Tony de Zorzi, a South African cricket player, is another exciting player to emerge from the U-19 setup. He made a strong start in the age-group competitions.


De Zorzi was always a unique talent who rose through the age groups and was selected as captain of South Africa's team for the 2016 U-19 World Cup. During the 2016–17 CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge, the aggressive left-handed hitter made his eagerly anticipated List–A debut for the Northerns, making it a memorable year for him.


De Zorzi was included in the Tshwane Spartans roster for the first Mzansi Super League T20 competition in October 2018. During the 2019–20 CSA 4-Day Franchise Series, he demonstrated his true class. The Southpaw gained recognition from the South African cricketing fraternities after scoring 213 runs without losing against the Cape Cobras. He was selected for the South Africa A team's November 2021 series against the visiting India A team.
