Agni, who is playing for Mizoram, has been in remarkable form, and on January 26 he registered his fourth consecutive century in the tournament, this time against Meghalaya, showcasing his burgeoning talent in the domestic cricket scene.

While his father, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, continues to garner acclaim in the film industry with the recent success of '12th Fail', a movie based on the life of IPS Manoj Sharma, Agni is carving out his own legacy on the cricket field. In the ongoing season, Agni Chopra's performance has been nothing short of sensational. Making his debut in the Ranji Trophy, he has quickly become a run-scoring machine for Mizoram.

In his fourth First-Class match playing against Meghalaya, Agni Chopra played an impressive innings, scoring 105 runs off just 90 balls, including 13 fours and four sixes. This performance was instrumental in Mizoram setting a formidable total of 359 runs in the first innings.

Agni Chopra's debut in the Ranji Trophy was equally remarkable. In his first match against Sikkim, he scored a stunning 166 and 92 runs. However, despite his outstanding performance, Mizoram couldn't secure a win. Undeterred, Agni continued his impressive form into the second match against Nagaland, where he scored 164 runs in the first innings and added 15 in the second. In the next match against Arunachal Pradesh, Agni breathed fire against and whacked 114 runs.

To date, Agni Chopra has accumulated a total of 666 runs in just seven innings. His scorecard includes a whopping 85 fours and 18 sixes, underscoring his aggressive and effective batting style.
