Former South Africa captain and legendary batter, AB de Villiers posted a hilarious tweet in X (formerly Twitter) in which he said that the SA20 franchise Durban Super Giants should play the T20 World Cup. AB de Villiers' tweet came in the backdrop of Durban Super Giants' strong performances in the ongoing SA20 competition. The South African great was also prompted to make the hilarious claim because of the team's composition, which includes some of the biggest names in T20 cricket.

AB de Villiers underlined that the franchise doesn't have any weakness, and perhaps, an outright pacer bowler can further bolster an already power-packed team.

"This @DurbansSG team should enter for the t20 World Cup. Difficult to see any weakness here! Maybe add one outright pacer(145km/h) and that is that," de Villiers said in a tweet.
