Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been appointed as the vice captain of Indian team for both the T20I and Test squads.

Former team India skipper Virat Kohli and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant have been rested for the three-match T20I series as Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur will get a full rest.

Jadeja's return

On the other hand, Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is scheduled to make a comeback to the Indian team. Jadeja was injured during the first Kanpur Test match against New Zealand. Jadeja’s right elbow injury occurred to be a pretty serious one and he was going through rehab at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
