Players ask BCCI to start their own league
According to a report in Dainik Jagran, a couple of former players have asked the BCCI secretary Jay Shah to begin India's own Legends League. The cricketers have requested and want that the league should be like IPL, with a franchise-based model where the groups bid for the players on the auction table.

A BCCI source near the development affirmed the former cricketers' proposition to the BCCI.
