BCCI invites applications for one member of selection committee: Here are minimum requirements and deadline for the post

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited applications for one member of Men's Selection Committee. BCCI has also released minimum requirement/experience needed to apply for the position in the ongoing month.  
 

Minimum requirement for post 
 

The player should have played a minimum of seven Tests or 30 First-Class matches or 10 ODIs or 20 T20Is. The player should have retired from the game at least five years prior. In addition, the person should not have been a member of any Cricket Committee for a total of five years.
 

Deadline 
 

The deadline for submitted applications is June 30 till 6 PM. After BCCI is done with screening and shortlisted the applications, the candidates will receive a call for personal interviews followed by further evaluation.

Several posts at State Associations too
 

In addition, the board has also invited applications for State Cricket Association's Head of Sports Science and Medicine/Academy Physio. Each state board will have its own Head of Sports Science and Medicine who will report to their respective office bearers. Also, the applicant should not be older than 50 years. 
 

Head of selection committee yet to be appointed
 

Meanwhile, BCCI is yet to announce the permanent head of the men’s selection committee after Chetan Sharma stepped down from the post following a sting operation by news channel. After the scandal, scandal, Shiv Sunder Das took his place as the interim chief selector.
 

However, Sharma recently selected North Zone squad led by Mandeep Singh for the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2023. But Mandeep getting injured meant Jayant Yadav lead North Zone in the tournament.
