Big News: India's home schedule for first quarter of 2023 announced; Rohit's brigade to face Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Australia

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India's schedule at home for the first quarter of 2023. India will host Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Australia during this period.
 

Sri Lanka will be the first to tour India for three-T20I series that will start on January 3 and ODI series which will commence on January 10.
 

Then, New Zealand will tour India for limited-overs series. Just few days after the completion of Sri Lanka series, the ODI series against the BlackCaps will begin on January 18. The T20I series will be played from January 27 and February 1.
 

In February, Australia will tour India for the Border-Gavaskar trophy. The first of the four-Test series will begin on February 9. The Test series will be crucial as both teams will look to solidify their spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2021-23 final. It will be followed by a three-ODI series from March 17 to March 22.
 

India’s star players Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah are expected to regain fitness and make a comeback in the Sri Lanka series.
