As India held its collective breath awaiting the historic lunar landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Wednesday, cricket icon MS Dhoni, along with millions, keenly observed the momentous event. At precisely 6:04 p.m. (IST), when Chandrayaan-3 achieved its soft landing near the lunar south pole – a first for any country – the atmosphere was electric. Yet, in that electrifying moment, Dhoni, celebrated for his unflappable nature both on and off the field, responded with his trademark composure. Clad in a casual tank t-shirt and shorts, he clapped his thighs amidst the widespread applause around him, a testament to his character.

This successful landing propels India into a prestigious league of nations, making it one of the four countries to land on the Moon, and the only one to explore the untouched lunar south pole region.

Although Dhoni has bid adieu to international cricket, he still helms the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). His exceptional leadership has led CSK to five triumphant seasons, the latest being in 2023. Beyond his cricketing prowess, Dhoni's unique batting style and ability to stay calm under pressure are legendary.

However, MS Dhoni's interests span beyond the cricket pitch. He's the proud co-owner of Ranchi Rays hockey club and Chennaiyin FC football club. His entrepreneurial spirit is also evident in his diverse ventures, from his merchandise company 'Cool Maal' to the lifestyle brand 'SEVEN'. Notably, in 2022, he marked his presence in the health sector by investing in Shaka Harry, a pioneering plant-based protein firm.

In essence, whether it's a significant space exploration feat like Chandrayaan-3's landing or the realm of sports and business, Dhoni's understated passion and commitment remain evident.
