We have seen bowlers taking hat-tricks in cricket field but snaring double hat-tricks in the same over is a rarity in the cricketing world. A 12-year-old English cricketer achieved this charisma on Friday (June 16) when he bagged a double hat-trick in the same over for his club to everyone stunned.
In the Worcestershire County Board Competition match, Bromsgrove Cricket Club's Ollie Whitehouse dismissed six of the Cookhill CC's batters in six consecutive balls to help his team earn a resound 153-run win. Whitehouse ended up snaring an eight-fer as bowled an unbelievable spell of two overs that too without conceding a single run in it.

Stunned after witnessing Whitehouse's bowling the Bromsgrove Cricket Club's captain Jayden Levitt said,"I couldn’t believe the significance of what he had achieved".
"It’s absolutely amazing to get a double hat-trick in one over is absolutely mind-blowing, it’s an amazing effort and I think he probably won’t realise the significance until he’s a lot older,” Jayden told BBC.
Whitehouse's prowess in his game is understandable as his maternal grandmother Ann Jones was the Wimbledon champion in 1969.
Talking about the match, while batting first Bromsgrove Cricket Club posted a colossal total of 329 runs. In reply, Cookhill CC could only muster 176 runs on the board and went down to Bromsgrove by 153 runs.
