'He is going to be leaving India and shifting very soon...': Virat Kohli's childhood coach confirms his plans to shift to London

Former India captain Virat Kohli who hails from New Delhi is planning to shift to London along with his wife Anushka Sharma and kids Vamika and Akaya. According to Virat's childhood coach the former India captain is planning to shift to London and will soon leave India to settle in the European city.

There were speculations about Indian star shifting to London when he was seen in London after India's T20 World Cup 2024 win. Now as per Rajkumar Sharma, the star cricketer is planning to shift permanently. 

“Virat apne baccho aur patni Anushka Sharma ke sath London mein shift hone ki yojna bana rahe hain. Vo bahut jald hi Bharat chor kar waha basne wale hai (Virat with his children and wife Anushka Sharma is making plans to shift to London. He will leave India soon and settle there)," Rajkumar said in an interview with Dainik Jagran, which was published on Thursday.

 

Kohli was born and raised in Delhi and then he moved to Mumbai a few years ago. He got married to Anushka in December 2017 in Italy and welcomed the birth of his first child in January 2021. Kohli missed the five-match Test series against England earlier this year due to the birth of his second child, who was born on February 15, 2024, in London.

India's batting great is currently in Australia alongside Rohit Sharma led the side for the five-Test match series where he is yet to get his mojo back with bat. The former India captain just scored an unbeaten century during the second inning of the first Test match in Perth where India defeated Australia by 295 runs. After winning the first Test match, India failed to continue the winning momentum as hosts defeated Rohit Sharma & Co. by 10 wickets and the third Test match ended in a draw. With series leveled at 1-1 the fourth Test match will take place in Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne from December 26.
