Vikrant Keni-led Indian cricket team has defeated Abdulla Ijaz's Pakistan side by 5 wickets in match 8 of the Physically Disabled (PD) Champions Trophy 2025 which was being played in Sri Lanka's Colombo. This was the second clash between both teams in the tournament and India handed them a second consecutive defeat. Men in Blue are now on a four-match win streak and have sealed their spot in the final of this mega tournament. Pakistan have only managed to win one game in their four games. The Indian side has been performing with absolute dominance.

Pakistan decided to bat first after winning the toss. However, they did not get a good start as they lost their first wicket on zero runs and soon went 25/3. However, a partnership between Saif Ullah and Muhammad Noman revived their innings. Ullah got out after scoring 58 runs off 51 balls. Later Noman remained unbeaten on 45 runs off 42 balls.
Jithendra V N took the most wickets for India with 3 in his four-over spell and just gave away 25 runs. Rest Narendra Mangore and Sunny took one wicket each. Pakistan were restricted to just 138/5
India completed the chase with with ease
Rajesh Kannur played a magnificent and unbeaten 74-run knock off just 52 balls to guide the Men in Blue to a stunning victory. India lost their first wicket on 50 runs in 5.2 overs. However, as India was off to a good start, it was not a big blow. Pakistan did get wickets but they were not on quick intervals which allowed the Indian side to steadily chase the target.
Waqif Shah and Gulam Muhammad took two wickets each, meanwhile, Mohammad Noman just got one. None of the Pakistan bowlers could restrict the run flow and as a result, India chased down the target with 5 wickets and two overs in hand. They have now officially qualified for the final of the tournament.
