Indian all-rounder Kedar Jadhav who made his international debut in 2008 has announced retirement from all forms of cricket. He scored 27 & 40 runs in his recent outing in the Ranji match between Maharashtra vs Vidarbha at Pune on February 9 to 12, 2024.
He last played for India in 2020 against New Zealand in Auckland. He was also the part of India Cricket Team who featured in the 2019 ODI World Cup which was hosted by England and Men in Blue reached the semi-final.
Jadhav's way of announcing retirement was pretty much like the former India captain MS Dhoni. Dhoni has announced his retirement on August 15 in 2020 with a two-line statement on his Instagram profile a year after 2019 World Cup which was played in England.

"Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired (sic)," Dhoni had said, sharing a slideshow of photos from his career, accompanied by one of his favourite songs, 'Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shair Hoon' in the background.
Jadhav took his X to announce his retirement from all forms of cricket, here is the post:
“Thank you all For your love and support throughout my Career from 1500 hrs. Consider me as retired from all forms of cricket” wrote Jadhav.
Kedar Jadhav also shared a reel on his Instagram where he posted some pictures with his former team mates. Here is the video
He represented India in 73 ODIs and nine T20Is where he scored 1389 and 122 runs respectively. In bowling, he got 27 wickets in the ODI. Jadhav came into the limelight after he smashed a 29-ball 50 for Delhi Daredevils now Delhi Capitals (DC) during his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut. Jadhav played 95 matches in IPL where he scored 1,208 runs including four fifties and his highest score in the cash-rich league was 69.
