Ruturaj Gaikwad will be leading the Rest of India (ROI) against Ajinkya Rahane's Mumbai in the upcoming edition of the ZR Irani Cup 2024 which will be played at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow from 1st – 5th October 2024. The inclusion of Dhruv Jurel and Yash Dayal in the Rest of India team is contingent upon their non-participation in the upcoming second Test match in Kanpur against Bangladesh. The 2nd Test will begin on 27th September. Similarly, Sarfaraz Khan will be representing the Mumbai team if he is not being involved in the second Test match.
