Indian T20 captain Virat Kohli on Monday surprised everyone with his acting prowess. Ahead the first warm-up game against England in Dubai, Kohli took time to record a video for his Delhi and India team mate Shikhar Dhawan on the social media.
Kohli in the video is seen aping the batting stance, expression and mannerism of the Indian opener.
Virat in the video is heard saying,
“Hi, this is Virat Kohli and I am going to mimic Shikhar Dhawan because I feel he is lost in his space so much it’s very funny and I have seen it many times from the other end,” Virat said.
Virat’s mimicry has left the fans on social media in complete splits.
The Indian opener, who emerged at the fourth highest run-scorer in IPL 2021 scoring 587 runs from 16 matches for the Delhi Capitals was ignored for the T20 World Cup. ‘Gabbar’ last played for India in the limited-over series against Sri Lanka in July where he led the team in three ODIs and three T20Is.
