No place for Kohli, Yuvraj in Harbhajan’s all-time playing XI

Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has revealed his all-time T20 XI comprising of players from all international sides. Harbhajan has made some shocking omissions from his playing XI keeping some big names of Indian cricket out from the team. The 41-year-old spinner has omitted current Indian T20I captain Virat Kohli out from the team which is shocking as Kohli is the leading run-scorer in the shortest format of the game.
Not only Kohli but Harbhajan has also left out some big names like Yuvraj Singh, David Warner, Brendon McCullum and others. Harbhajan has opted to include experienced players rather than young talents or current stars of the cricketing fraternity. The Jalandhar-born cricketer has made India’s legendary captain MS Dhoni as the captain of the team.

Harbhajan’s T20 XI
The opening slots have been given to Indian opener Rohit Sharma and the self-proclaimed ‘Universe boss’ from West Indies Chris Gayle. At number three is England’s wicketkeeper-batter Jos Buttler who recently scored his maiden T20I century in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021 against Sri Lanka. At number four, Harbhajan picked Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, Mr. 360 AB de Villiers, MS Dhoni, Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard in his middle order. The solitary spinner in his side is West Indies’ Sunil Narine while the two fast bowlers are yorker specialists Jasprit Bumrah, and Lasith Malinga.
“The batting order can be altered and Pollard could be moved up and down the order depending on the needs of the side. Any T20 team is incomplete without Pollard,” Harbhajan told Sportskeeda.

No place for Kohli
Kohli who has scored 3,227 runs in 94 T20Is got no chance in Harbhajan’s side as at number three as he was chose Jos Buttler over him. Even stylish batter KL Rahul did not get a chance in Harbhajan’s team despite being the fourth-highest run-getter for India in T20Is with an average of 39.46 in 53 matches. The Karnataka boy has scored 1697 runs at the international stage in the format including two centuries and 14 half-centuries.

India’s veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has picked former Indian skipper MS Dhoni as the skipper of his all-time XI.
