Bollywood actor Sara Ali Khan has broken her silence on the long-standing rumors linking her to Indian cricketer Shubman Gill. The actor addressed these speculations during her appearance on Karan Johar's popular talk show, Koffee With Karan Season 8, alongside Ananya Panday.
The dating rumors between Sara and Shubman began circulating when they were spotted together on a dinner date. However, neither of them had publicly acknowledged or commented on these reports until now.
In a recent teaser for an upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan, host Karan Johar asked Sara about the rumors surrounding her relationship with Shubman, marking the first time she's openly discussed the matter.
"You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peechay pada hai (the whole world is after the wrong Sara)," said the Bollywood actor.
Earlier, when Sara was questioned about her willingness to marry a cricketer, akin to her grandmother Sharmila Tagore, she conveyed that the profession of her potential partner held no significance to her.
"I think that the kind of person that I am, to find somebody it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor… Maybe not doctors, they will run away. But you know the truth is that jokes apart, you will need to match me on the mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think it’s great, wow but I think that would matter to me much, much more (than the profession)," she had revealed during an interview with India Today.
Sara Ali Khan's candid response on the talk show has ignited curiosity among fans and the media, eager to hear more about her personal life and her thoughts on the dating rumors that have been swirling for some time. This revelation adds a layer of intrigue to her already dynamic public persona and relationships.
