Stuart Binny, Mohammed Kaif join India Maharajas for upcoming Lengends League Cricket

Mohammed Kaif and Stuart Binny have been added to India Maharajas squad for the Legends League Cricket (LLC) starting in Muscat from January 20. Muscat had also hosted a few matches in last year’s ICC T20 World cup.

 

Ravi Shastri, Commissioner of the tournament, said, “Mohammad Kaif and Stuart Binny’s contribution to the Indian cricket is huge and likewise I feel they will also have an immense role to play in league as well."

 

“We are excited to have Mohammed Kaif and Stuart Binny on board in the India Maharajas team! Their inclusions will bring in a lot of experience and diversity. I am sure they will set the atmosphere on fire!” said Raman Raheja, CEO of Legends League Cricket.

 

The first season of LLC will have three teams representing India, Asia and Rest of the World. Former cricketers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, England, among other cricket nations will be seen participating in the tournament.

 

These big names will also play the tournament
Apart from Sehwag, Yuvraj and Harbhajan, India Maharaja team includes Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Badrinath, RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha, Naman Ojha, Manpreet Goni, Hemang Badani, Venugopal Rao, Munaf Patel, Sanjay Bangar, Nayan Mongia and Amit Bhandari.

Asia Lions also a team
Former Pakistan and Sri Lanka legends Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi, Sanath Jayasuriya, Muttiah Muralitharan, Kamran Akmal, Chaminda Vaas, Romesh Kaluvitarna, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Azhar Mahmood, Upul Tharanga, Misbah-ul-Haq, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Yousuf and Umar Gules are included. Former Afghanistan captain Asghar Afghan will also be part of the Asian squad, while the players for the third team are yet to be announced.
