The ugly spat between India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant and Bollywood actress Uravashi Rautela seems to be coming to a close. Urvashi has apologised to Pant for her comments in an interview with Bollywood Hungama last month where she claimed that the 24-year-old waited for her for hours.
In an interview with Instant Bollywood, the 28-year-old said in a hurry, “All I wanna say is.. What do I say? I don’t know what to say. Sorry. I’m Sorry”.
“I was shooting in New Delhi and I arrived at night. Quickly I had to get ready because actresses need more time to get ready. So, Mr RP came to the hotel lobby and wanted to meet. Ten hours passed and I fell asleep. I couldn’t attend any calls and when I woke up I saw 16-17 missed calls and I felt so bad that someone was waiting for me and I couldn’t meet them. I told him we’ll meet when you come to Mumbai. We met in Mumbai but a huge drama happened with the paps and all,” Rautela had made the shocking claim which led to a social media spat between the two.
Rautela also called him a “cougar hunter” as Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper "It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meager popularity and for hitting headlines. Sad how some people are so thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them #merapichachorhoBehen #jhutkibhilimithotihai."
Urvashi was recently seen cheering from India in Asia Cup 2022 where Rohit Sharma-led side was eliminated at Super 4 stage. She also posted a video of her and young Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah which went viral.
“I don't know who Urvashi is. I only focus on my match. People usually send me videos but I have no idea. I have nothing special in me but I thank people who come to watch cricket and give a lot of respect,” the Pakistan teenager said in an interview.
