In order to increase the interest of cricket among the people of Oman, Legends League Cricket (LLC) involving retired international cricket players will be hosted soon. This tournament will see three teams competing against each other. Players from India and Pakistan have also been included to make this league more exciting. The tournament will begin on January 20.
Indian players will represent the India Maharajas, whereas Pakistan and Sri Lankan players will form Asia Lions. Pakistani players like Shoaib Akhtar, Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez will be seen representing Asia Lions in the upcoming tournament.
India Maharaja will have the likes of Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh. Former Afghanistan captain Asghar Afghan will also be seen playing for the Asian side.
The India-Pakistan rivalry
With India and Pakistan players going up against each other, fans will have a chance to relieve the fond memories of watching their favourite players in action once again.
The third team to take field in this tournament will be the World Giants. Legendary players and former cricketers like Brett Lee, Kevin Pietersen, Herschelle Gibbs, Darren Sammy and Jonty Rhodes will be seen representing the World Giants.
The excitement of the league has already increased due to the addition of legendary players and now the fans are eagerly waiting to see their favorite international cricket once again taking part in a match.
