England’s red-ball prime speedster James Anderson, who is generally remains in talks for his exceptional bowling, this time has made an excellent batting record which is still unchartered by any batter.
The highest wicket-taker in Test cricket for England became the first player ever in the world to return to the pavilion unbeaten in 100 innings in Test cricket. Anderson returned not out to the his dug out after scoring 5 runs in the first innings of the second Ashes Test in Adelaide on December 18 (Saturday).
Earlier, India’s former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni possessed the record of returning to pavilion 84 times in One Day Internationals and 42 times in T20Is.
Anderson, who holds many illustrious bowling records, has played 166 Tests so far and scalped 632 wickets.

ODI – M. S. Dhoni (84 times)
T20I – M. S. Dhoni (42 times)
Anderson, who was left out in the first Ashes Test against Australia, had snared two wickets including the dismissal Australia’s stand-in captain Steve Smith in the first innings of the ongoing second Ashes.
England are currently struggling to find their rhythm in the game as Australia are already leading the five match Ashes series by 1-0.
